Your Lyin' Eyes

Much like Sue Ellen, the American people can see what is happening, they can see the contradictions, hypocrisy, doublespeak and bad actors. But  in time,  the spin doctors and charlatans convince them that they are witnessing something else.

On the T.V. show Dallas, J.R. often cheated on his wife, the gullible Sue Ellen.
When she caught him he would always say, "are you gonna believe me or your lying eyes?"
One would have to be a fool to not recognize what is happening to this country. We are witnessing an orchestrated coup against a sitting President and the attempt to fundamentally transform our society.
Much like Sue Ellen, the American people can see what is happening, they can see the contradictions, hypocrisy, doublespeak and bad actors. But  in time,  the spin doctors and charlatans convince them that they are witnessing something else.

The experts tell us that we must leave our jobs, shut down the economy, shelter in place for the well being of everyone. Stay off the beaches, no playing in parks, you cant walk your dog, maintain social distancing and do not even consider protesting these Draconian measures. Meanwhile, they completely disregard their own dictates. Now, these same people are marching in the street alongside organizations that support the overthrow of capitalism and our Republic. But, this type of protest is immune to a virus, looting and pillaging are perfectly acceptable and all other protests are examples of white supremacy. They are doing all of this under the banner of civil rights, a more worthy cause.

There are genuinely motivated persons peacefully protesting on behalf of George Floyd, their movement has momentum, their movement is just and noble it is also being hijacked and co-opted by opportunistic enemies of freedom. This is how revolutionaries operate they hijack any movement that is aligned against their enemy (in this case the government, the police, the system) and find favor through their alliance. They are no different than a "friend," who likes you for your money, fame or benefits. They are only in the relationship for their own good.

These same bad actors argue that they are fighting for justice for a black man. All the while failing to acknowledge that the areas most affected by these injustices are ran by the very people that they are reaching out to. The Attorney General of Minnesota is a black man, do they not think they will receive justice from his office? If not, why not? Is it because of systemic racism?

The mainstream media stands by with unlimited gasoline to throw on the fire, masquerading as journalist, they are nothing more than agitating snake oil salesmen, peddling hate and division. With their catch phrases and performance journalism they keep the fire kindled with relentless vigilance.

Sue Ellen eventually stopped listening to J.R., she came out of her drunken stupor and opened her eyes. If America does not do the same our Republic will cease to exist. The clock is ticking, if you think things are bad now, consider we are six months away from election time. We have yet to see the amount of evil the left is capable of, however, we are about to see just how far they will go.
